dream it, wish it, do it

"Some scientists suggest that up to a quarter of animal species could be extinct by 2050. But it’s not too late - you can be involved in saving planet Earth. If you are a child, this is your future. If you’re a parent, it’s your legacy. The time to act is now."

Please watch this, reblog it, share it, show it to everyone you know. Not for yourself, for the thousands of children abducted, raped, savaged and killed.

I think the majority of girls worry too much about being a size 0. They’re comparing themselves to models they see on the television, on the internet or in magazines. They feel as though they have to be a certain size in order to be beautiful. Excuse me, but I did not realize everyone was built the same. We all come in different sizes because, that is how we were created. Just because size 0 is perceived as beautiful in today’s society does not mean it is. Stop worrying so much about being size 0 because, that size is not healthy for everyone. We are all different heights and built in different ways, meaning different weights are healthy for different people. Size 0 is healthy for some people, size 4 is healthy for other people, size 8, size 12, size 14 and the list goes on. We are not all built the same. Stop giving in to society’s message of “Size 0 is beautiful” because, healthy is beautiful. Healthy is different for every single person. Take care of your body, eat right, exercise and figure out the weight that is healthy for your body type.

However, also realize that we are society. If you don’t like the message of size 0 being beautiful then do something about it. We are society. We are the people. The media puts out what we want to see. Stop giving in.

Healthy is beautiful.
Healthy is beautiful.
Healthy is beautiful.

The Great Bear Sea

The Great Bear region of British Columbia’s north coast is one of Canada’s ecological treasures. Here the world’s last intact temperate rainforest meets some of the planet’s last large wild rivers and most productive coldwater seas.

All five species of Pacific salmon are found here. It’s home to endangered whales, dolphins and porpoises. Extraordinary animals like Pacific coastal wolves and the rare white Spirit Bears live nowhere else on Earth.

This is one of the richest and most spectacular ecosystems on our planet. And its future is in our hands.
